Our program focuses on the whole child through social-emotional, physical, cognitive and spiritual development tailored to each child's individual needs. Our children learn through free play, arts and crafts, individual and communal projects, dramatic play, literature, music, science, foreign language and creative movement.

BHPCNS believes that young children learn best through play. Our play-based early childhood education program provides hands on multi sensory experiences, both indoors and outdoors, to foster a lifelong love of learning.

encourages children's growth in a community of inclusion and respect reflecting core values inspired by faith traditions. In this loving and caring community, children are encouraged to develop their own talents, uniqueness, and self-esteem.
GOVERNANCE
BHPCNS is a mission of the Bradley Hills Presbyterian Church, but is run independently, governed by a Board of Directors. The Board of Directors is comprised of Church members, current BHCPNS parents and staff. The current Chairman of the BHPCNS Board is Rosanna Morrison.
LICENSING
BHPCNS is licensed by the Maryland State Department of Education through it's Office of Child Care and holds a Letter of Compliance (license #71228). BHPCNS is also a licensed by Montgomery County, MD as a Private Educational Institution (license # 27677). BHPCNS was founded in 1957 by the ladies' group of Bradley Hills Presbyterian Church. Initially a playgroup of just a few children, the school has grown to an international enrollment of over 175 students offering classes to 2, 3 and 4-year-olds.
Bradley Hills Presbyterian Church Nursery School is a preschool of excellence, offering programs for two, three and four-year-olds. Our staff members are extremely qualified. Each lead teacher has a college degree or training in preschool education; assistant teachers are qualified and experienced in early childhood care. Admission is open to children of all races, faiths, ethnic backgrounds and nationalities.
